2021 conference venue
Original Sokos Hotel Viru, Viru väljak 4, Tallinn
Events on both days will be hosted in the hotel’s conference centre.
Upon its completion in 1972, the Viru Hotel became Estonia’s first ‘skyscraper’. It was designed by architects Henno Sepmann and Väino Tamme from what was then the National Design Institute, known as ‘Eesti Projekt’. Now, 50 years later, the hotel has become one of the most instantly recognisable landmarks in Tallinn. In addition to accommodation, the hotel offers conference rooms, entertainment and recreational services and even history: its top floor is home to a KGB museum. The hotel is easy to reach via public transport, and there is a parking station right next to it (linked to Viru Keskus shopping centre) for those making their own way to the venue.
